Computer Setting Help

Computer Requirements

Your computer needs the following:

Automatic Computer (Browser) Check

Before you run any of our online courses, or if you are having any difficulties with them, we recommend using our Browser Checking Tool which will give you information on some of your browser settings, and whether they are correctly set. And, if you end up calling us, you will be better prepared to give us your system information such as:

  • The specific browser you are using (Microsoft Internet Explorer, Google Chrome, Mozilla FireFox, Microsoft Edge, etc.)
  • The version of your browser
  • Whether pop-up blocking is turned off (which is required)
  • Whether cookies are being accepted (which is required)
  • The version of Flash Player you have installed (some browsers have this built in). Note: if Flash is NOT installed, and you are using an older browser that does not support HTML5 (or if compatibility view is turned on for Internet Explorer), the courses will not run!

  2. Click on the Settings Tab to view the Screen Resolution settings.
  3. Drag the slider to choose a different resolution setting, and then click Apply.
  4. When prompted to apply the settings, click OK. Your screen will turn black for a moment. Once your screen resolution changes, you have 15 seconds to confirm the change.
  5. Click Yes to confirm the change; click No or do nothing to revert to your previous setting.
