Classroom training coming back (we hope)!
We have three classes scheduled in the second half of 2022 to be conducted face to face in the classroom. A few things to know:

  • When searching for upcoming classes in the Training Times or in the Learning Center, check both Webinar and classroom options (they are listed separately: a webinar is stated in the title).

  • If the time comes and we are unable to conduct a training in the classroom, that class will be converted to a webinar. Remember, webinars are longer than classroom trainings, so plan for the extra time on your schedule in case of conversion. This affects Mondays and Fridays if we need to extend the class time. Check the schedule for the classes you are considering before registering! If we are required to convert to a webinar, you will be notified as soon as possible.

  • Learning Center displays an icon on the search results page when classes are scheduled. Chalkboard icon displaying 1 plus 1. or Calendar icon indicates there are available class offerings.
    • Chalkboard icon displaying 1 plus 1. means there is one class scheduled.
    • Calendar icon means there are multiple offerings scheduled.

Training Tips

What Is Blended Learning?
Blended learning is a mix of multiple methods to provide training. The Partner Training Team (PTT) provides many courses using a blended learning approach. These are identified in the Learning Center as blended learning.

But what about the classroom? Often, PTT identifies prerequisites you must complete prior to attending training. The purpose is to increase your basic knowledge prior to attending face-to-face training, thus decreasing the need for a lot of lecture and knowledge building with a trainer. Blended learning and prerequisites enable PTT to develop more skill building and practice into the limited time we have together.

So, remember to complete your prerequisites prior to attending any class, either face-to-face or online. When in class, we apply knowledge and skills obtained in the prerequisites, so it is important to be prepared! Your prerequisites are listed both in the course description in Learning Center and in your confirmation letter for class attendance.
