Now Available – Setting the Stage for WWP Phase 2 Video Series
Setting the Stage for WWP is a series of five videos introducing most of the functions moving from CARES to WWP at the end of June. Each video is approximately five minutes long, with a sneak peek at the new functionality and how WWP better supports these functions to meet policy and case management practices. The videos cover:

  • Employability Plans
  • Participation Tracking
  • Participation Statuses

These videos are a required pre-requisite for anyone attending the W-2 WWP Processes: Phase 2 online training in April – June. We recommend that you watch these videos within the two weeks prior to class.

For more details about this course and/or to access these videos: Learning Center.

Preparing for WWP Phase 2 Training
W-2 WWP Phase 2 training is for FEPs, FEP Supervisors, QA staff, and Resource Specialists who enter or edit EPs and non-participation. Virtual classes start in April and include a hands-on component.

Ensure you are ready for training by using this checklist:

  • You have logged into the WWP training environment within the last 6 months - https://wwptrn.wisconsin.gov/login.
  • Your W-2 security role in the WWP training environment matches your role in production. If it does not, talk to your ATL. (Note: All workers are listed under Workforce Resource as their agency in training.)
  • Your security role in the CWW training environment matches your role in production. If not, talk to your ATL.
  • You have the Zoom app available on your computer.
  • You have access to audio and a mic through your computer. If you do not, you will be able to call in by phone. We recommend using a headset for audio, regardless of how you access the course.
  • You have a way to see what trainers are doing and make entries along with them (two computers, dual monitors, split screen, etc.).
  • You’re able to access a printed copy of the Participant Guide.
  • You watch the Setting the Stage for WWP Phase 2 video series prior to attending class.

Remember, this training is online, and trainers will not be able to log into the system for you. Preparing now for training ensures you will be able to participate fully when the classes take place.
