Generally, a DCF Service Desk staff person meets the trainer at the lab around 8:00 the first morningof training. Check all the cards and make arrangements for their return to the DCF Service Desk (they generally come and pick them up after class).
- One week prior to the training, email GEF 3 Security at doagef3securitydesk@wisconsin.gov to let them know you will be using P26 Computer Lab with the names ofeveryone attending including the trainers. The security guard should have your email printed to check off every one on the list. If not, provide a list of attendees (copy of roster) to the guard at the front desk the morning of training.
- There are 17 computer stations in the lab, but two of them are in a dark corner.
Special Requests:
- For Child Support sessions, a podium is kept in the cupboard, and can be put next to the trainer's computer desk.
- There is a private room for nursing mothers:
- A trainer for the upcoming class contacts Jeno Schwartz at 608-422-6331 to obtain a floater key card to gain access to the lactating room in GEF3. Inform Jeno of the training dates.
- Jeno will arrange to have the floater key card available at the second floor reception desk in GEF1 for the trainer to pick up prior to class.
- The trainer will take the learner to the first floor (training in P26 is on the "P" floor) to let her in the room. The lactating room is directly across from the elevator.
- The trainer keeps the floater key card until class is completed. Return the floater key card to the second floor reception desk in GEF1.
