The virtual workshop offers two 2-hour sessions at a cost of $110 per participant for both sessions or $70 for one session. The in person workshop provides a 6-hour training at a cost of $170 per participant. These trainings introduce participants to over 30 hours of Caregiver Project training materials designed to prevent abuse and neglect, improve professional caregiving skills, increase quality of resident care and meet continuing education requirements for caregivers. Upon completion of the workshop, participants will be able to train direct caregivers and other staff in their own facilities.

Investigating & Reporting Allegations of Misconduct (for DQA-regulated providers):
This 4-hour workshop will be offered virtually and in person. The cost for attending virtually is $110 per participant and $140 per participant for the in person session. This workshop will help participants identify the key components of conducting internal investigations into allegations of abuse, neglect and misappropriation.

This 2-hour virtual workshop at a cost of $70 per participant provides information to identify steps necessary to complete caregiver background check on individuals covered under Wisconsin’s Caregiver law, evaluate background check results relating to hiring and continued employment, understand the Rehabilitation Review process and utilize resources available to support the caregiver background check process.
