· Some caregivers believe they do not possess the necessary skills to do their jobs?
· In one study, caregivers said they need more continuous on-the-job-training?
CCDET offers 4-hour Caregivers SOAR! Train-the-Trainer workshops in statewide locations. Learn to strengthen your caregivers’ soft skills, encourage retention, and support job satisfaction and success. Topics include communication skills, sympathy vs. empathy, conflict resolution, dependability, professionalism and relationship building in the workplace.
Individuals attending the training will have access to ready-made training materials to train staff members. The training sessions are scheduled from 8:30am to 12:30pm. The training cost is $150 per person.
Intended Audience: Individuals attending this training workshop will have access to ready-made training materials to train staff members and will be eligible to apply for continuing education units (CEUs)
